Of course it would happen that right when I decide to start getting more serious about my crafting and Etsy ventures, my life would get busier and the sewing machine would be in use all the time with wedding preparations. My sewing seems to not be as important as wedding preparations…seems weird to me, but, I deal with it. ;-)

I’ve been feeling rather uninspired lately in most areas, so, I decided I had to fix that…

The results:

I did go thrift shopping today after work and found some beautiful turquoise corduroy, some vintage buttons, embroidery hoops (which I really needed!), some fabric that had teapots on it (even though it was rather hideous) that I just couldn’t pass up.

I have some really cute skirt ideas that I’m hoping to whip up within the week, but I’m not sure if the ideas will actually come to fruition until the week after because of the wedding. Either way, though, I’ll be sure to update with pictures and long drawn-out and boring details about every part of it…you can count on it. Hee.

Feedback and comments on my blog and Etsy Store mean more to me than you’ll ever know. *hint hint*

  1. I love your store, and I love your journal. And I love successful thrifting. :) I want to see the teapot fabric! Make something whimsical out of it. :)

I am definitely looking forward to the long, drawn-out, boring details! Because I am your blogstalker. *nods*

(And I shouldn’t be allowed to comment on people’s journals when I have had very little sleep following a crazy, weird night. :P )
