Today, for several reasons, I’M DOING A GIVEAWAY!!
I’ve been waiting with great anticipation for this day and I’m so excited I could burst. Me bursting, though, wouldn’t be pretty–for several reasons–so we’re going to skip that part. You’re welcome.
Because I am reduced to a puddle by the big eyes of 15 of the most beautiful children on this earth.
Because the last several months since I have met these children have been some of the most impacting of my life.
Because we had a very emotional “goodbye banquet” last night for the sweet kiddos.
Because I had a girls’ day out–high tea (with hats, thankyouverymuch!)–with them today.
Because their voices ringing out in praise to their Saviour can reduce me to tears without a moment’s notice.
And because I have been listening to their CD nonstop for about the last month straight, and I want the beautiful songs to be just as stuck in your head as they are in mine.
I’m giving away one of their CDs!
Yes, this CD of sweet songs, jubilant praise, and passionate worship from these dear, dear Haitian kids that I have so completely and entirely fallen in love with . . . this could be yours in one easy step.
Oh! but wait.
I’m giving away another one.
That’s right. TWO of you will be winning a His Little Feet Children’s Choir CD!
And I know you will fall as deeply in love with them as I have–even if just through their voices.
These children are passionate about their Jesus. They have been through things that most of us could hardly even imagine, and to see them sing “Blessed be the name of the Lord . . . You give and take away . . . my heart will choose to say ‘Blessed by Your name!'” with tears streaming down their faces is deeply moving, because they know exactly what they’re singing. And they mean it.
Oh. I suppose I should set an ending date for this giveaway. Hmm . . . having never done this on my blog before, I have nothing to base it on. How long does a giveaway last? How about we put it as . . . 10:17pm (mst) on June 3rd–one week from today.
(Obligatory: This giveaway is done with the permission of His Little Feet organization–but the CDs are my own personal possession, they were not given with the specific intention of being used in a giveaway. Over and out.)
(Oh, and photography credit is not mine. All credit goes to the wonderful Annie Wesche!)
