I nearly tripped over a pumpkin last night as I was hauling some school supplies out to the His Little Feet bus.
“I nearly tripped over a pumpkin!” I cried out to no one in particular. I then smiled broadly at how whimsical it sounded and continued to repeat the phrase over to myself on my whole journey to the bus.
I nearly tripped over a pumpkin……….and then…well, you know what they say about tripping over pumpkins…..
…actually…
what do they say?
LOVE THIS! You know what they say about that whole pumpkin tripping thing…
Mm…yes, you KNOW what they say. *nods mysteriously*
Oh Grace… you crack me up!!!! This just totally made my day. I am now going to mull over what they say about tripping over pumpkins. Actually, I’m more curious about who “they” are? It always seems kinda mysterious when people talk about what “they” say. You know? :-)
Don’t let such trivial things distract you from the issues at hand, dear Lydia. “They” are not so important as what they say. But, then again, what they say isn’t as important as pumpkins. Pumpkins trump. That is all. ;)
I have heard it said that she who trips over a pumpkin exponentially increases (with each trip) her love of pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, pumpkin soup, pumpkin seeds, pumpkin cookies with browned butter frosting, pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin pie milkshakes, and the well-known pumpkin pie latte.
It must be true, then! Although I don’t know if my love for those things CAN increase anymore than it already has…what happens then?
Oh my goodness! I was just cracking up…for like ever! That is great. Let me tell you…you brighten my day with you blog posts. :)
Aw, I’m glad to brighten your day! Let me tell you, YOUR COMMENTS brighten my day! I wish I could give you a real big hug right now, but this will have to suffice: *HUG*
